The poem " We are more" is meaning that we are different from any people from other countries, we are strong and free, good manners, keep moving on, stand up from where we fell and failed, the kind of people that never give up. Our goals and hopes are many, longer that the laundry list, we are creative and unbeatable. As we look at the title " We are more," the usage of "we" is telling that we are all writing this poem together,we are the facts in the poem, we are a big family, we can do more that this, we are the people that keep this country keep moving on. There are also many metaphors used in the poem, for example, "So don't let your luggage define your travels". What it is this metaphor talking about is don't let the worries carrying you, it is the past already, forget about it and keep moving on. The metaphors he used are creating an imagery in the listener's head, there are just many analogies pops up as you listen to the poem, you will think as carrying a luggage to everywhere will be inconvenient. The poem changed when I hear by the emoting, the strength as the person that reading it, he sometime stops, voice went up, excited, powerful, he is telling us what should we understand from that poem, as he speaking it, he is telling directions to let us to follow.
