I love the plot of the story, and I love the twist on the end of the story. I love how Eoin Colfer creating
a mastermind character. Artemis Fowl was a character that you will never know what is he going to do next, that also leave surprises to the readers, and let the readers want to continue with the book.

Because everything after Holly escaped is a warp up for the story, knowing how Artemis going to do after Holly escaped is the wraping up section.

the fire blast, as Mulch saw the fire, he gets freak out. Mulch hurry put the fire back to his mouth, and that makes Wart- face 's head blow off. In the mean time, Root was asking Mulch to do a mission. The mission was to digging and entering Fowl Manor and find out why Artemis knows so many things about them, and also need to trying to save Holly.
As Mulch enters the Fowl Manor, he started to find the way to Holly. Dwarf is very sensitive will sounds, they can hear everything that a human can't heard of. He saw many cameras, he asked Foaly to make them stop. Foaly make every cameras in Fowl Manor to delay 10 seconds, so Mulch can annoy all the cameras. Mulch founds a safe, actually is a safe in a safe. Foaly ask him to leave it, because he think Artemis was not careless. Mulch didn't listen, he used all his abilities to open that safe, at last, he has been successfully opened the safe, there was a book, a copy of the magic book. The mystery of why Artemis knows that many things solved in this point. Meanwhile, Artemis found out the problems of the cameras. He immediately ask Juliet to check Holly, but Butler was the first one to Holly's cell. The power of the acorn blast Butler to fly away, and Holly was also successfully get off her hand cuff. She also found the little patch of Earth, as she return the acorn to it, her magic will be restored. Mulch heard that blast, so he meet Holly and escaping by their own. Unfortunately, Mulch died in the way of digging his tunnel, because he was calling for help from Root, and Foaly, but at that moment, his heart has been stopped in the monitors. Cudgeon was angry about his failing, he was getting so angry and starting a troll to the Fowl Manor to destroy. The Troll has been successfully entered the Manor, it killed Butler, but Holly was watching the end of Juliet, so she starts to help. She used the helmet and hardly hurt the troll, and Butlet was immediately back up again. He wants to kill the troll because he thought his sister has been killed, but Holly told him his sister is still alive, so he stopped. The gold has been send to Artemis, and Artemis has also returned Holly back to the LEP. Artemis was opening champagnes to celebrate, after they all drank the champagne, they are fall in sleep. The bio bomb has been launched, Holly and his LEP group was getting the gold back. But there were no sign of Artemis and Juliet and Bulter's corpses, they have been successfully left the time field. They woke up, and Artermis's mother was there, she was fully healed, because Artemis used half of the gold to buy a wish from Holly, the wish was to heal his mother. The story just end like this.

Artemis Fowl was a genius, a master mind. One day, Artemis was going to Chi Minh City in the summer for restoring his family fortune, the thing that he needs to find is the book, the bible of the fairies. He found the person that he is looking for, a healer, but under his radioactive green glasses, she is a fairy. Artemis was making a deal to that fairy, he wants to trade her magic book for only thirty minutes by giving her the booster. That booster can keep that fairy alive, without that dose of booster, that fairy might lost her life. The fairy promised, to give the magic book to Artemis, because she don't think thirty minutes can't make any difference. After Artemis got that magic book, he was sneaky using his digital camera to copy every pages in the book, then they will have more time to discover that book that tells about the fairies. It only took 5 minutes to copy every pages. After that , they returned the book and gave the fairy two boost and then leave the city and back to their house. The next part is to translating every single word in that book, Artemis tried every languages that exist in the human world , but it won't work. Finally he got an idea, the symbols, the symbols are the basic language, symbols are the language that exist since the world is created. He has been successful converted every word for the first page at the end, but the meaning inside the text still confusing, the words that contain the fairy's grammars still hard to follow, but the person that is reading it is Artemis. Hard problems also later converted to small problems through Artemis's thoughtful machine. Holly was a fairies,but technically she was an elf, fairy being a general term. Also, she was a leprechaun too, but that just holly's job. There is also a guy called Root, which his nickname was beetroot. He is the commander, which is Holly's head. He command Holly what to do, but he also is the cause of Holly's distress. The most cause for Holly's irritability was the Ritual, which she need to perform it for several moons ago, if commander Root found out she was running low on magic, then she needs to transferred to traffic. Later on, they got a mission from the LEP, the mission was to working with the trolls, which the meanest creature in the tunnel that eats flesh and bones. As root didn't know Holly was running low in magic, so he sent Holly go to work with the troll. In this second, Holly must lying she was running hot with magic,she don't want to upset Root, and that also cause lots of troubles. As she go through the light circle, she track the troll and that is how she meet the troll, the troll was almost go through the city wall, Holly was deciding lives or orders. She choose lives, because there was a child, and she allowed to safe someone if the person was calling for help, then she fight over the troll. Fortunately, she has been succeed by putting the troll on fire, but she lost all her magic. Holly's protective shield also gone, every human around there say Holly with a naked eye. As commander root knows she run low on magic, he didn't get angry, he just send Holly to the full moon to get back her magic. Artemis finally moving forward for his plan, he is getting more clues from the magic book, and he knows what does the leprechaun needs in order to restore her magic. In order to follow his plan to restore his family fortune, he needs to capture one on the fairy. He knows as the fairy needs to restore their magic, they need an old oak tree seed (an acorn). There is not that many oak tree left, and the leprechaun also need the full moon, so Artemis starts to searching through the wood with his hummingbird wings. In the mean time, Holly was already get onto the surface, and flying across the ocean while she exited the tunnel. On the way to her place, she was complaining about the mess from mud people (human) along the ocean line . As Holly take off her helmet, which she needs air for her ear, right now, she broke the LEP rule( Never remove the helmet). As Holly take off her helmet, the protective shield that keeps her signal and sight out from the human will be also shut off. Artemis just by this point, and see the red light in his radar, then they have the chance to catch one of the leprechaun. They used the technologies( radioactive sunglasses) to make Holly appeared in their sight. They shot a fire dart onto holly's body, then they carry Holly to the dock. Root and Foaly found out Holly was missing because they lost connection with Holly. They immediately look back at the video that recorded by Holly's helmet. There are human voice spoken out in the video, and the dangerous thing was they saw a very bright thing that showing up on the monitor. As they frozen the video and zoom in closer, they saw the dart. In this point, they think Holly maybe dead already or in serious trouble. They can locate Holly by the locator on her, but at that time, the locator has already been carefully removed from Artemis. They have another way to locate Holly. The only way right now was to use the video card in Holly's helmet to locate. They can get three dimensional pictures, but unfortunately, they are on board, so they can't receive it. Root was volunteered to be the one that going into the ship and searching for Holly. As he get into the ship, there were nothing but except dark. A human voice was spoken out, a familiar voice that Root just heard in the video they just watched. Root knew it was Artemis, but he didn't expected Artemis set a bomb and blow him off. As root gets back to LEP, he cooperate with the LEP retrieval team to rescue Holly from Artemis's house( Fowl Manor). Cudgeon leads his retrieval team towards to the Fowl Manor. In the way to get to there, Artemis has been set many cameras. All of them are shielded, but under Artemis's camera, one of the them is anti-shielded. Butler carrying his weapon, and beat everyone on the field. Everyone was done, include cudgeon. Someone was still standing, he is FOUR. Butler asked him to go back to invite Root and make the Fowl Manor into a time field. Root didn't fear anything, because Artemis wasn't hard to communicate with. Artemis gave Root a choice, 24 karats of golds to trade back Holly. Root didn't immediately answer this question, he just say he will think about it, then he go back to his base. As Root go back to his base, he was finding a dwarf named Mulch ( Root love to come him convict). Root give Mulch a mission, the mission was to enter the Fowl Manor by digging in and find out why Artemis knows so many things about them. Mulch has been successfully get into the Fowl Manor, there are cameras everywhere. Foaly set every cameras delay for 10 seconds, so Mulch can get through all the cameras. Mulch found a safe, actually there was a safe in a safe. Mulch opened the first one by his hair,as the hair left his pore, it immediately turn hard and straight. The second one Mulch open it by his sensitive ears. There was a copy, a copy of the magic book, now he knows why Artemis knows that much things about the fairy world. Meanwhile, Artemis found out the problems of the cameras, he asked Juliet immediately go to see Holly. Butler was the first one that get into Holly's cell. Butler was blasted off by the power of the acorn. Holly was successfully get rid of the handcuff, and she had returned the acorn to the small patch of Earth. Holly's magic has been restored in this moment. Mulch was also meet Holly, they both are finding their way out by their own. Mulch was digging back to the surface, but unfortunately, Mulch died while he is digging up to the surface. Mulch had calling help from Root and Foaly, but it is too late, his heartbeat has been already stopped. Cudgeon was so angry because of the failed mission. He was going to send a Troll into the Fowl Manor. They used the missiles to blow a entrance to let the Troll get in. Butler was the one that wants to protect his sister, so he stand out for the fight with Troll. The Troll killed Butler easily, and heading toward Juliet. Holly stands out to help because she don't want to watch the Troll to kill that little girl. Holly used her boot, but failed. At last, she used the helmet and hardly damaged the Troll. Butler was standing back up immediately, in this moment, he believe in magic. Root has been sent the gold to Artemis, and Artemis has been successfully received the gold. After they got the golds, they released Holly, and open champagnes for celebrating. Artemis puts sleeping pills on the champagnes in order to fall in sleep. The bio bomb have been launched after Holly enter the safe zone, everything was gone in that moment. The bio bomb kills every organism in the Fowl Manor. After the blue rinsed ( bio bomb), Holly and her team starts to get back the gold and searching the place. Artemis has been successfully escaped the time field, because there are not a sign of Artemis's corpse. Artemis woke up, he saw his mother, Angeline. His mother is having mental problems, but after this event, his mother has been fully healed. The reason why Angeline Fowl is healed, because Artemis used half of the gold to get a wish from Holly, the wish was to
heal his mother. Artemis didn't get any benefits for himself, everything he did was for his mother.

How are the major and minor conflicts solved?
The major conflicts in this few chapters mostly based on Holly and Artemis. The main conflict was to get the gold and escape the time field at this point.
At the end, Root promised he will give him 24 karats of golds to trade her Captain (Holly) back. But the most important thing was after the gold have been sent it to
Artemis , and Holly was successfully away the bio bomb ( it kills every creature in the area of bio bomb, but not the buildings) destroying area, then Root will
launch the bio bomb and destroy everything in the Fowl Manor. Artemis knew everything they are going to do to him, but he was so confidence, he said he can escape the
time field after the gold was delivered to him. Holly tell him that there are no one ever can leave the time field, and no one can keep the golds from the fairy world. This major conflict was solved by Artemis confidence and master mind. After the bio bomb has launched and successfully kill everything in the Fowl Manor, there are not a sign of corpses
of Artemis, Butler and Juliet. That meant they did it, they have been successfully escaped the time field, the main conflict was solved just by a sleeping pill. The reason why Artemis was so confidence and sure they can escape because he did this experiment on his mother. As the people in the time field slept, they will successfully escaped from it.
The minor conflicts was to get them sleep immediately, because they are run out off time. Artemis solved this problem by putting sleeping pills into Butler and Juliet's champagne.
They were opening champagnes for celebrating after they got the golds, but if they knew they are taking the sleeping pills to get them sleep, it will become against the nature, and
the sleeping pills will be acting late. So Artemis sneaky put the pills into their glass, and let them sleep. That is how a genius to solving problems, he always having back plans for everything problems they have.
Is the novel believable?
The novel is not believable because the story line of the novel. In our real life, there were no fairies, magic and even trolls. Most of the science fiction stories are not believable, but as you deeply reading the book, you will thing it was real. Because there are too many facts to support Artemis's explanation and the concept of the fairies. The novel's reality was based on yourself, like fairy tales, as you think through it, you might think that was real. But in my opinion, this novel was not believable., because the fantasy world doesn't make me to think it was real.
Why would you (or why wouldn't you) recommend this novel to a friend?
The reason I should recommend this novel to a friend was there are many metaphors, similes are in this book. It was pretty good to practice and learn
all those metaphors and similes, because some day we can use those metaphors in the writing. This book also having a attractive moment, like capturing
a fairy was a very new topic to this day. And in this day , most of the teenagers love to read this kind of fantasy and magical stories, it was the number one book I
should recommend to a friend. Also, I don't know this book was good or not, but there was a friend recommend this novel to me, as I give the list of books , he said
Artemis Fowl was a good book, maybe he has the same concept as mine.

Comment on the style of the novel. Is it easy or hard to follow the events?
The style of the novel was very catching people's attention, it brings fantasy and magical events to let people
creating pictures in their own head. The style of the novel was taking in the old world, the world that have fairies, trolls,
dwarf and goblins. In chapter 6, the story was mention Fowl's living place. The place where Artemis was living in a castle,
a castle that let the few generations of fowl to living in. The events was very easy to follow, because the events going in orders.
As you read the first part, the coming up part will be more easier to understand, and knowing what is going on. The events was
going in a order, like a number line, it goes straight to the positive side. The events are pretty simple in this book, first Artemis go to
Ho Chi Minh city to getting the magic book, and then he go back and translate everything in that book.
Next, Holly was on her way to defeat the troll, and restoring her magics by the full moon. Then, Artemis captured Holly,
and as Root found out, they starts to take Holly back. Everything in this book having rules to follow, if you read the second
part and didn't read the first part, you are impossible to understand what was going on.
Is the language in the novel difficult or easy? GIve examples and explain.
The language in the novel is partly difficult and partly easy. Some of the slang words that the author used was
super hard to understand, but as the author think about this point, and he don't want the readers having any
misunderstand, so he decides to translated for the readers. That is the part where I found out is easy to understand.
Like slang word - peashooter, he will find a way to translated to gun, also blue rinse, he put the translation of bio bomb
into the sentence where Captain Root was talking to Lieutentant Cudgeon. And the hard part was the metaphors and smiles
the author used. Sometime there are also idioms in the book, and the idioms was the hardest part to understand.
Describe any new characters that are introduced? What is their purpose?
In Chapter 5 and 6, there are two new characters are introduced. The first new character came up was Foaly, he is the one that
found out Holly was disappeared. He was a smart person, he usually work in LEP center, his work was to giving out
the fitting armors, weapons, and technologies to the army. He also is the one that giving informations which root and the
squad was rescuing Holly The second character was Lieutentant Cudgeon. He is the one that leads the LEPretrieval Squad
to rescue Holly. And the most cool thing is that he is the one of the five fairies that having encouragement to called straightly on root's first name.
Plot Outline- Chapter 5, Chapter 6
Foaly and Root have been found out Holly was missing in action, they can locate Holly where she have been. As they
look back to the video, which the videos that have been record before Holly is missing. They found out their was human voices
and a firing fart, which shot by Artemis to capture Holly. They starts to finding Holly, but the locator has been safely removed
already by Artemis. There are also a technology in Holly's helmet, it is called the video card, it can locate and getting three dimensional images. Unfortunately, Artemis was on deck, which they can't use the three dimensional image, so root starts to
enter that ship and rescue Holly by himself. As he enters the highly beeping locating, which Holly was close, but everything
around him was dark. There was a voice, a familiar voice that have been played on the video from Holly's recording, Artemis's voice. Artemis set up a bomb and blow Root up and then take Holly to his castle. As soon as Root failed his mission, he
cooperate with the LEPretrieval, and they starts to moving forward to Fowl Manor. Their mission was to rescue Holly, and they
